Continuing bird discovered 12/13/2023. Obvious Empidonax flycatcher, green with two wing bars and an eye ring. Rich green head and back, wings blackish with two dull white/buffy wing bars, dark tertials edged in white and white edged secondaries. Tail green with black edges to the feathers. Head peaked. Throat and breast lighter greenish/yellow compared to upperparts. Bold yellow/buff eye ring, expanded at rear of eye. Bill medium length with dark upper mandible and completely orange lower mandible. Legs and feet black. Hammond's Flycatcher is smaller with a longer primary projection and a stubby, mostly dark bill. Yellow-bellied Flycatcher is richer yellow below with a less bold eye ring, Acadian isn't as yellow below and does not have a crested appearance or as bold an eye ring. Dusky Flycatcher isn't as green/yellow overall and has a nearly all dark shorter bill. Western Flycatcher also has a pattern of vagrancy in the east and has occurred in Pennsylvania twice (identified as Pacific Slope Flycatcher).
