Nest site on exposed horizontal branch of Spotted Gum tree (Eucalypt), c.8m above ground. Chicks are looked after by all members of the group. Usually at least 1 adult close to nest. First two segments and voice announcement: Nest unattended, Pied Currawong on nest when young squawks loudly, adults respond quickly and drive PC away. Young then heard loudly as adult feed them, field note.
