Bulky Herring sized gull, shown with a CAGU for comparison, yellow legs, light gray mantle and scapulars, significantly large bill with a red gonydeal spot and a thin dark ring near the tip, pale iris that may not be obviously apparent but the pupil is visible in the uncompressed photo showing contrast, photo cropped unedited. ID suggestion given by the North American Gulls Facebook page.
