Bulky Herring sized gull, shown with a CAGU for comparison, yellow legs, light gray mantle and scapulars, significantly large bill with a red gonydeal spot and a thin dark ring near the tip, pale iris that may not be obviously apparent but the pupil is visible in the uncompressed photo showing contrast, photo cropped unedited.
