We recognized it immediately. An incredibly drab gray vireo, with a thick bill, weak white eye ring, and single weak white wing bar. We obtained audio, video, and pictures with our cell phones. Christian was digiscoping. Incredible find. The most northeastern record in Texas, and doubly surprising in winter.
