Subtitle: Asiatic Shorebirds. Habitat: Mudflats. Tide was nearly high. Weather: Cloudy; Little wind (5-8mph) Recordist note: "These birds were taped from inside my car with parabola held out the window as we were perched at the very edge of the mud flats. Birds were feeding. Other shorebirds seen here before dark today and many other days during this month (some of which are no doubt on the tape) include: Golden Plover, Red-capped Dotterel, Mongolian Sand-dotterel, Large Sand-dotterel, Black-tailed Godwit, Grey-tailed Tattler, Greenshank, Terek Sandpiper, Broad-billed Sandpiper, Sharp-tailed Sandpiper, Curlew Sandpiper, both species of Knot, etc.". Equipment Notes: Microphone: Norelco AKG Dyn 200.
