No bins or camera on me when initially sighted and only saw the bird briefly and jumped to the gun by calling it a Chestnut Collared at first,,, bird was feeding on path on the SW end of the beach/trail area... I retrieved my camera and upon closer inspection the bird appears to have conjunctivitis or something on its right eye...
