Really large flock- maybe twice as many as estimated. They moved back and forth across the road in the bare fields near the entrance to the Dairy Education Unit and it was difficult to get a firm number. This estimate was from counting while they were in flight over a hundred yards or so. I’ve never seen this many in North Carolina before.
