NOTES: (Bkground Sounds: Wind and maybe high tide at Mado.) Singing from one tree. This was the first recording we made of this sp. Subsequentlyk we did record it again another yeart and collected a specimedn which confirmed the identification. I played back the first two sequences recorded and had the animal approach closer and sing but not as prolonged as when we worked with this sp. later (different month). We have this sp. in our Laikipia study area. Many recordings and some are banded (ringed). Response to playback: Approach. Response to playback: Normal song. Other Behaviors: Advertise.
