Smaller than the Snow Geese it was with. This bird was discussed on East Bay Birds (Sightings), and David Yeamans declared it to be a hybrid Snow x Ross's Goose. He provided detailed analysis in his checklist from 20 Dec 2017. I also thought it looked like a hybrid, based on the grin patch and the shape of the head. Therefore, I originally reported it as a hybrid. However, the eBird reviewer said that it is a pure Ross's Goose, so I have corrected it.
