Continuing from several days ago when found by Kai Russell. With flock of surf scoters, goldeneyes, and buffleheads up and down the beach near the concrete spillway structure about .5 km east of the municipal wharf. Diving actively; flew off several hundred meters to the east eventually. Different head and bill shape, and much less white in secondaries and coverts showing in flight compared to female common goldeneyes (see attached photos of flying groups).
