Major influx/event. Thousands observed over the course of the day. Constantly in view from 730am through 330pm. 5156 total counted on this pelagic trip today, which appears to be a new state high count. Tiny black & white cue-ball sized alcid. Many seen in the water while others were in linear flocks of 30-40, all flying north.
