Seen when a group of people flushed them from the muddy shoreline at the southeast corner of the lake, where there are a couple chairs set up on the grassy flat area by the water's edge. They flew around the lake a couple times, and I was hoping they would settle back down, but I last saw them flying off to the north, and I think they departed the lake entirely. Identified in flight by small size, richer brown coloration than Western, and distinctive flight calls. Photographed poorly as they flew off.
