In the spirit of the upcoming CBC, I’ve attempted to carefully estimate the enormous quantity of Starling. More than I’ve ever seen. In the attached photo, I counted 35 in the red circle. I’d estimate there are the equivalent of 12 circles in this tree, and there are three trees completely stocked with Starling. (Note the two Red Tail Hawks are in here too, lol). 35 x 12 x 3 =1,260. And there are easily twice as many more in the fields not in these trees.
