觀察細節

One first cycle, one adult. Adult photographed, no photo of first cycle. Adult (see photo), about the same size as nearby Herring Gull, more round head, slightly slimmer bill, bill color was more yellow/green than Herring's yellow. Dark eye. I did not see this one fly initially, but some time later I did have an adult in flight that I assume was the same individual showing more white in the wingtips than a Herring. First cycle was only seen in flight. It was as pale as the most pale Herrings, but with more white under the wings and upper side of the primaries showed white inner webs.
