Presumably the same female seen at this location many times for over 2 months now. She worked on a damaged tree for over 20 minutes. I took multiple photos at close distance (can upload one later) and there was no sign of a yellow cap. She then flew over to a second tree farther off the main trail where I could hear her work away but was unable to see her. She was on that 2nd tree for at least 10 minutes when I left as it started to snow.
