觀察細節
Back in spot on top of grain silo, watched them fight off a Red-Tailed Hawk before returning to perch on silo. I’ve also been told by homeowner who owns the property that these Ravens are resident birds that have lived on their grain silos since last year, and have just returned to their property as of this January. The homeowners pointed out the nests on the silo to me, which they told me the Ravens had just built out of branches that they tore straight off of the walnut tree in the front yard. It’s likely that these birds are a breeding pair, as the homeowners mentioned something to me about them having offspring last year, but they are at least a resident pair. Homeowners were very nice, and seemed very happy to have the two Ravens in their yard, because they talked about them as if they were family pets. As always with birds living on private property, be respectful of boundaries, but also know that these people are very nice, and are happy to see others appreciating their birds.
