5:42 p.m. (end of nautical twilight); Rare for this area but ongoing since October (see also checklist for 12/14). Distant but steady series of calls for 1 - 2 minutes (Merlin recording: cropped in Audacity to eliminate dead time; also used a high-pass filter at 600hZ and light noise reduction necessary for clarity. Original is available if needed for confirmation. Compare to better recording from October, also included here.
