觀察細節

Adult. Slightly smaller than Herring, shorter billed, petite round head, with dark irises. Only got a momentary glimpse of its primary pattern as it landed, which immediately struck me as less covered in black vs. Herring. A second bird with more or less identical characteristics also joined the roost, but I obtained a record shot of just the first bird.
