Later in the morning, we encountered a lone singing bird, separate from any mixed-species flock. In part because of this circumstantial evidence, I suspected it might be Microbates. To me, the song is lower-pitched, stronger, and richer than that of Tunchiornis (and perhaps has a more distinct downward inflection at the end). That said, the two songs are very similar here.
