Continuing bird for at least a week. Noted this individual during scouting efforts for the GINTC Holiday with the Cranes activities and noted on at least 5 mornings this previous week exhibiting similar routine. Foraging nearshore water just NW to N of the observation tower area. Black duck approximately the size of American Coot. Prominent head markings include white patch on back of head and bright white/yellow large bill. Seen well through scope by all.
