Continuing. Medium Anser with orange legs, orange-ish bill, white blaze at base of bill extending onto forehead, heavy black markings on flanks/belly. Lacks yellow orbital ring of Lesser White-fronted as well as more restricted white on forehead/crown than Lesser. Orange-ish bill, narrow white terminal band on tail, heavy black patches on flanks/belly, and dark face strongly suggest Greenland race flavirostris. Geese eventually flew to the east into Rhode Island.
