Another new addition to the flocks tooling around northern Nassau County, reported here and at Dosoris Pond over the course of the past week. Mostly grazing actively out on the fairway with a contingent of Canada Geese. Slightly smaller than its fellows with mostly chocolate brown plumage, black mottling on the belly and white highlights on the face and flank line stood out at a distance, as did the bright orange bill and feet.
