觀察細節

Same individual that I documented on 22 November that is missing its upper mandible. It appears that the lower mandible is longer than when I last saw this bird; with no friction against an upper mandible, it appears to be elongating abnormally. I feed sunflower chips which the bird seems to manage to consume but I suspect that most normal winter foods are impossible for him. Unfortunately, my photos are poor.
