photos at three different times, but likely same 1-2 yr bird on ocean beach with gull flock. About same size as biggest Ring-bills. Flesh-colored legs, black eye. Bill bicolored- pink-flesh base, black distally. Molting in mantle feathers and tertials which are darker gray than Ring-bills, much like Laughing Gull mantle color.
