Maybe as many as 12. No good size comparison photos this time. Smaller than larger Canada Geese. This time I have recorded honks that Merlin tagged as “cackling”. Is it possible there are some Lessers Canada Geese? Sure but as far as I can tell, EBird, Merlin, or the Cornell University do not really make a distinction. (Edit: for the recording, the cackling honks are more towards the end. A Canada honks at the beginning.)
