Brightly colored warbler. About the same length as nearby YRWA, with heavier body. Larger than OCWA and TOWA. Bright yellow-orange (egg yolk) head, breast, and belly. Head had long and pointed beak, dark gray, and conspicuous black eyes strongly contrasting against egg yolk yellow color. Gray wings and tail. Soft white lower belly and under tail coverts. Mostly white under tail with black tips and side trim. Continuing bird spotted over the last two days in the two tipus in the parking lot behind Roxanne’s shop. Diagnostic photos.
