Great find by Ian D and Ken W the day before. Rebound by Martha near the original spot, but soon flew back to hide in the conifer stand for a while, after that bird often came out to feed on corns and seeds, etc. out in the field for long periods of time. Meadowlark in paler winter plumage, yellow malar, white flanks w speckles, having 2 and half white rectrices on each side. Often made "chuk chuk"calls. Photos.
