H.K.found the bird not much after 8:00am with a small dark Sandhill crane. Incredible adult plumage and likely (?) the same bird as three years ago that Liam found when it had sub-adult colors. Very light compared to most sandhills one would see. Black on neck and head. Reddish eye. Huge bird.
