Continuing, photos. Flew east from this spot with Sandhill Crane just minutes after we arrived. Larger than the Sandhill, pale gray body, black wingtips and highly contrasting black trailing edge to otherwise pale gray wings, black throat, white behind eye/cheek and back side of neck. Black crown, too distant to see the red. Very interesting flight, stiffer than the Sandhill, almost as though it was flying through water.
