觀察細節

Noticed a mixed flock of finches in a high tree across the street. They sounded somewhat unusual. I made a recording with my phone, not using an external mic. Merlin suggested Redpoll, I was skeptical. I went back in and grabbed binoculars, when I returned, only two of the birds remained in the tree. I noticed a pinkish wash on the chest of an otherwise black and white bird. When it moved from one branch to the next, I could see a very bright white underwing.
