Careful 1x1 tally with visuals of all individuals. Two birds in bush in the yard of a house along foothills drive. Three birds in the 'bird sanctuary' area behind the chapel. Likely more but several birds heard only that I’m leaving as slashes. Gray overall cardinals with thin spiky crests. Small roundish bills compared to cardinals that were somewhere between gray and yellow in color (not black or red as in NOCA).
