觀察細節

Smaller and lighter colored than either Brown-crested or Great Crested. Bill smaller in thickness. Rufous in primaries only, eliminating Nutting's( not to mention range). Dark edging on tip of tail.Bird was found in a brushy roadside area. Perching was fairly low in trees. Predominantly among mesquite, hackberry and juniper. Very faint,one note(prrrt) vocalizations. Not registered by Merlin app. Photos to added later today.
