Associating with Sandhills in front of the ranching building on the east side. Noticeably larger than the adults and associating with a group of two especially. Back neck and different face pattern, and black tufty tail. Slightly different gray tone overall. Took off with the rest of the cranes in the south direction, might’ve landed behind the buildings, but could’ve gone all the way to the refuge. ABA #541, NM #312
