Possible Horned Grebe. Much brighter white than nearby Eared Grebe. Cheek is entirely white without the dusky wash of Eared Grebe. Head appears larger in proportion to the body and slightly less peaked, neck seems thicker than Eared. The bird was distant and moved to the furthest end of the lake soon after my arrival.
