Bright individual, green back, gray head, white spectacles, rattling. The apparent color variability shown in these photos, all of the exact same bird, underscore the ID challenge. The bird was mostly in poor light (backlit, or shade), or high in the trees. Only a couple of times did I get good looks with the sun on the bird, and that's when it looked the most yellow. Going with most likely ID of Cassin's over BlueHeaded. At far east end.
