As identified and banded by Allen Chartier a few days ago. Hatch-year male. Gorget is like "beard stubble" instead of the full coverage of an adult male. I caught some flashes of red in some of my photos, though. Rufous coloring on head, sides, and tail, with some hints of green along the back. Visited feeder every 10-12 minutes. Also observed perched in nearby oak tree. Many thanks to Vicki and Joe for sharing Beechhaven with us, and for allowing visitors to see this beautiful hummingbird!
