Seen with a large group of other birders, from a very safe distance (>250m). One individual on the protected beach near the pier, another way out sitting on the fishhook. Lifer for me! Miserable day; 40s and light rain. Strong wind and storms are pushing waves over the top of the pier, which will hopefully keep the birds from being flushed today.
