Small sparrow-like bird seen foraging by walking on the mudflat amongst pipits and killdeer. The head pattern had a light yellowish supercilium, dark crown stripes, a cheek patch with dark border near the ears, and a small pink bill. The tail and primaries were long, the legs short, and a rufous stripe from the greater coverts was evident. Distant photos.
