*Rare. New IRC high count, beating my count of two individuals on 11/8/25. Long, slender-winged hawks with long primaries, strong underwing contrast between dark flight feathers and lighter wing lining, distinct light bases to primaries in underwing contrasting with dark primary coverts, pale tips to rectrices, etc. This has proven to be a fantastic fall for SWHAs in east-central Florida.
