Lifer. Two flying over us circling several times and able to photograph. Gave a "kek" call which sound similar to “jeht” call as described by Cornell Lab's "Birds of the World". In flight, appeared very white underneath--Latham's would have more barring on sides and lower to belly, as described in several references. Also in one of the photos, the legs extending beyond the tail tip--also indicating this species.
