Thrilling!! First detected by popping calls, then several successive groups passed overhead westbound. Light of the setting sun lit these already brilliant birds aflame, highlighting their orange bellies and triangular wings. Incredible to see this, one of my biggest targets for the trip, on my last (planned) night in Portugal. Photos, and recordings courtesy of Andre
