A small group of crossbills visiting the Quan Yin statue and the power lines to the east. In this recording Merlin ID’d as containing both Red and Cassia Crossbill vocalizations , however I am sending the audio to folks at the Finch Research Network to get feedback on what call types these vocalizations are. Will update record when I know more. We also saw a very dark streaked juvenile Crossbill being fed by an adult.
