觀察細節

Found yesterday by Simon, posted on iNaturalist, and still present in the area. Chunky black and white alcid. Black upperparts, white throat and underparts, with robust black bill. White trailing edge on secondaries visible. Bird was observed feeding with its head in the water off and on. Later, the bird was diving deeper for longer periods of time. Photos taken.
