Photos . A harsh call reminiscent of a shrike heard from the area . Feeling a bit harsher than the usually heard isabelline shrike . Searched the area very well before locating a shrike in the short palm tree . It quickly flew across the field and glimpses revealed maroon colors to lower back . Immediately thought of a possible bay-backed or long tailed . Minutes later the bird showed well . A long tailed shrike !
