Heard their nuthatch calls first (higher pitch), then saw the red-breast on 2 nuthatches. Lifer! They appeared to be smaller than the white-breasted nuthatch I’m used to seeing. I have a couple cellphone videos where you can hear their calls while foraging high in an arborvitae. I took a couple blurry screenshots that shows their cinnamon coloration.
