within the rainforest of Borneo, we found this one individual calmly perching on a branch 3 meters above us. its brilliant color contrasts the dark surrounding of the forest, not to mention it was nighttime. it was raining that night, i was so ecstatic to finally have my first Pitta, and it was Pitta nympha! thus explained the blurred pictures :")
