Medium-sized tern, black ear patch which with combined duskiness on back of head created a half-cap from eye to back of head, white forehead and crown. Gray back and upper wing coverts contrasting with dark carpal bars and dark primaries, dark bill. Feeding off of Cormorant tower at rivermouth. Poor digiscope photos.
