This Black-chinned Hummingbird has been at this home, feeding on flowers and on nectar in a hummingbird feeder for three days now. Its bill was long and downturned. This afternoon it was feeding, actively on the purple Salvia plants near the front door from about 2:10 to 2:27 pm. Many thanks to the hospitality of the homeowners. pics.
