Continuing. Put me in camp Tricolored x ???. Initially was leaning SNEG but the more I look at this bird and pictures I’m in the GREG camp. Gape extends really far where I think Ardea has to be involved. The thick bill structure makes more sense there too as SNEG x TRHE pics online look delicate. One of those birds that kind of makes you wish we were in Louisiana for some more old fashioned field ornithology.
